Who are The Red Pencils?
The Red Pencils are a team of advertising professionals who rode in the 2010 and 2011 AIDS Lifecycle. Collectively they have raised over $65,000 in an effort to end AIDS.
Why do we ride?
The simple answer is that we ride to help rid the world of AIDS/HIV. We ride for all those we’ve lost, and all who will be lost before a cure is found. We ride because while advertising gets a bad rap, in truth the industry is filled with compassionate, caring people who really want to give back and do some good in the world.The Red Pencils was formed to channel those energies. And we ride because we have nice bikes, like to go fast, and look really good in spandex (ok the last one might be a stretch).
